A new Ethos survey suggests that many Americans are uneasy about their financial future as retirement nears. The poll found that 47% of U.S. adults either have no retirement savings or believe they will exhaust their money before age 80. On average, respondents hope to live to 88, but think their finances will last only until 83, leaving a five-year gap between expected lifespan and financial security.
