The last round of Social Security payments for the month is set to go out this week, and the November Supplemental Security Income payment is also being delivered early.

Michigan Social Security recipients can expect their final October payment on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

SSI recipients will then receive their money on Friday, Oct. 30, which is earlier than usual because those checks are generally issued on the first day of the month.

Social Security benefits are paid by the Social Security Administration to retired workers, people with disabilities, and survivors. SSI is also administered through the SSA and provides support for people with limited or no income or resources, as well as those age 65 or older and people with qualifying disabilities.

Here's the benefits schedule for November 2026:

Why are SSI payments arriving early?

SSI beneficiaries will get their checks sooner than normal in November. Instead of the standard first-of-the-month payment date, checks will be sent on Friday, Oct. 30 because Nov. 1 falls on a Sunday.

When will Social Security payments be issued in November?

When does the cost-of-living adjustment take effect?

SSI and Social Security recipients will receive a 3.6% benefit increase in 2027.

SSI payments will rise starting Dec. 31, 2026, while Social Security benefits will reflect the change in January 2027, according to the Social Security Administration.
