The last round of Social Security payments for the month is set to be issued this week, along with an early release of the November Supplemental Security Income payment.
Florida Social Security recipients can expect their final payment for the month on Oct. 28.
Just a few days later, Supplemental Security Income recipients will receive their payments earlier than usual, with checks going out on Friday instead of the typical first-day-of-the-month schedule.
The Social Security Administration provides retirement benefits, disability benefits and survivor benefits. Its Supplemental Security Income program supports people with limited or no income or resources, as well as those age 65 or older and people with a qualifying disability.
Why SSI payments are arriving earlier
SSI beneficiaries will get their checks ahead of schedule because the usual payment date falls on a Sunday. As a result, the checks are being sent out on Friday rather than on the regular monthly date.
November Social Security payment dates
Social Security checks for the month will be paid on the following dates:
- Wednesday, Nov. 10, for beneficiaries with birthdays from the 1st through the 10th.
- Wednesday, Nov. 18, for beneficiaries with birthdays from the 11th through the 20th.
- Wednesday, Nov. 25, for beneficiaries with birthdays from the 21st through the 31st.
When the cost-of-living increase takes effect
SSI and Social Security recipients will receive a 3.6% boost in benefits in 2027.
SSI payments will rise starting Dec. 31, 2026, while Social Security benefits will reflect the change in January 2027, according to the Social Security Administration.
