ShopRite is handing out free nutrition starter kits to customers who are starting GLP-1 medications for weight management, the supermarket chain said.
The updated Wellness Your Way Starter Kits are available for a limited time at all ShopRite Pharmacy locations. Customers filling their first GLP-1 prescription at a ShopRite Pharmacy will receive a complimentary kit while supplies last.
The kits come with an expanded nutrition guide created with input from a ShopRite registered dietitian. It includes shopping advice organized by aisle, product suggestions and recipes.
The guide also covers key nutritional factors such as protein, fiber, hydration and nutrient-dense foods. Each kit includes samples from participating brands.
The program builds on an initial launch earlier in the year.
