BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Halloween season may have passed, but some “vampires” can still be lurking in homes, quietly using electricity and driving up monthly bills. Jeff Smith of Pacific Gas and Electric Company, dressed in a vampire costume, appeared on Eyewitness News Mornings to explain how these hidden power drains work and share ways residents can lower their electricity expenses.
