TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The enrollment period for Medicare Advantage plans and Part D prescription coverage is underway, and prescription drug out-of-pocket costs are increasing.
Coverage options available to Medicare beneficiaries include Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, Part D prescription coverage, and supplemental Medigap policies such as F, G or N. The Medicare Advantage plan carries no premium for the insured. A supplemental plan is not required, but it is often recommended to help pay deductibles.
