Pennsylvania’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, is accepting applications for the 2026–27 season.
The program provides help with winter heating bills for eligible households.
Cash grants can range from $200 to $1,000, based on household size, income, and fuel type. Payments are made directly to the household’s utility company or fuel supplier.
Both homeowners and renters may be eligible.
Households dealing with a heating emergency may also qualify for added help.
Applications remain open through April 23, 2027.
More information and applications are available through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
