Class action settlements are filed throughout the year, and eligible claimants may be able to recover money.
Below are five proposed settlements with claim deadlines approaching in November.
Generic prescription drugs settlement: Nov. 9
This proposed settlement covers multiple generic prescription drugs.
The lawsuits claim that generic drug manufacturers caused consumers and third-party payers to overpay for certain medications through alleged antitrust, consumer protection, and common law violations.
CVS class action settlement: Nov. 16
The settlement stems from an alleged data privacy problem that may have exposed health, personal, or private information from users, allegations that CVS and the defendants deny.
If you used the CVS website or app, you may be eligible for a payment from the class action settlement.
Kia class action settlement: Nov. 23
Drivers or former drivers of certain Kia makes and models who experienced window regulator problems may qualify for this claim.
Approved claimants will be reimbursed for eligible out-of-pocket costs tied to window regulator repairs at a Kia dealership or an independent repair shop.
Dr. Squatch class action settlement: Nov. 27
The original lawsuit said certain Dr. Squatch products contained synthetic ingredients even though they were advertised as natural, an accusation the men's personal care company denies.
You can check the list of qualifying products to file a claim.
Navy Federal Credit Union class action: Nov. 29
Settlement details say the lawsuit accuses the credit union of failing to stop third parties from opening unauthorized personal loan accounts in members' names and of failing to cancel the loans after customers sent loan funds to unknown third parties.
