Anker Solix has rolled out a significant software upgrade for its PowerOS energy management platform, adding a range of new capabilities meant to make home energy control more automated. PowerOS first arrived earlier in 2026 together with the Anker Solix Solarbank 4 Pro.

Accessible through the Anker Power App, the platform operates across compatible Anker Solix energy storage products and helps households track and manage the way they produce, store and consume electricity.

The initial wave of features started arriving in October 2026 on supported devices such as the Solarbank 4 Pro and Solix XE, while additional updates are expected in December. Exact availability will depend on product compatibility and local market.

The update adds a Self-Learning Engine that studies weather forecasts, energy usage patterns and electricity prices to decide the best times for batteries to charge and discharge. Based on Anker's internal simulations, this could allow households on dynamic tariffs to save up to 30% more than they would with the company's current Self-Consumption Mode.

Other new tools include Surplus Alert, which warns users when extra solar power is likely to be available. Tariff Auto-Match is also included, automatically adjusting energy management for fixed-rate, time-of-use and dynamic electricity plans.

Anker is also expanding alerts for possible severe weather and grid interruptions, allowing compatible systems to build up battery reserves before a potential outage. Smart home support is growing as well, with Homey now joining Home Assistant compatibility.

Further additions are scheduled for December, including Intent-Aware, which lets users outline changes to their routine so the system can recommend appropriate energy adjustments. A Proactive Daily Energy Report will also deliver automatic summaries of solar production, household use and savings.

We will update this story when those additional features become available.
